About Me
Meet Jenny! Licensed Physical Therapist, Educator, and Founder.
Hello, I’m Jenny Samuelson, a licensed Doctor of Physical Therapy and the creator of OsteoProFitness, a research-based exercise and education platform designed to help adults with osteoporosis and osteopenia regain strength, posture, and confidence.
For more than a decade, I’ve helped patients throughout Houston, Texas, and across the state improve their mobility, prevent falls, and protect their bones through targeted physical therapy for osteoporosis and specialized bone-strengthening exercise programs.
I believe exercise should empower you, not scare you — and when done correctly, it can literally rebuild bone density.

Why I Started OsteoProFitness!
As a physical therapist, I knew movement could make a difference, but I wanted to be sure which movements were safe and effective. So I dove into the research, reading every clinical study I could find on osteoporosis and exercise, including work from NASA on how astronauts prevent bone loss in space.
When done correctly, resistance training and weight-bearing exercises for osteoporosis can improve bone density, posture, and overall quality of life. My mother became my first student. Together we developed a simple, targeted routine using resistance bands, balance training, and core activation. Within months, she was moving better, standing taller, and living without fear of fractures.
Frequently Asked Questions
OsteoProFitness was created by a licensed Doctor of Physical Therapy who specializes in osteoporosis and osteopenia. Every movement is backed by research and clinically tested to improve bone density safely. Unlike generic fitness routines, Jenny’s programs teach you how to move correctly, protect your spine, and progressively build strength with science-based structure.
When you perform strength training exercises for osteoporosis, your muscles pull gently on the bones, stimulating them to rebuild density and strength. These exercises mimic the natural stresses bones need to stay healthy — similar to what NASA uses to prevent bone loss in astronauts. Jenny’s courses guide you through safe, progressive ways to apply this principle at home.
All you need is a simple set of resistance bands with a door anchor, a stretch strap, and a small amount of open floor space. Jenny demonstrates every exercise using affordable tools (under $30) so you can safely perform the routines from home — no gym required.
Yes — with proper instruction. Jenny’s programs are designed to teach you how to move safely using proven osteoporosis and exercise guidelines. You’ll learn which movements to avoid (such as spinal flexion or twisting) and how to activate your core, improve posture, and strengthen bones through low-risk, targeted training.
Yes! Jenny provides physical therapy for osteoporosis near me throughout the Houston area, including Sugar Land, Katy, Richmond, and Pearland. Sessions can be held in your home or through secure TeleHealth for most Texas residents. Medicare and major insurance plans are accepted for qualified patients.
Consistency is key. Most clients report noticeable improvements in posture, balance, and confidence within a few weeks. Over time, many see measurable gains in bone density and strength on follow-up DEXA scans. Jenny’s approach focuses on steady, realistic progress — empowering you to move freely, safely, and fearlessly again.
