Exercise for Bone Health – Neck StrengtheningExercise for Bone Health

When it comes to osteoporosis and exercise for bone health, neck strengthening can often be overlooked.

The “CORE” of the neck is a group of muscles called the Deep Neck Flexors.  These muscles are located in the front of the neck.

Weakness in these muscle can cause headaches, neck pain, and can contribute to poor posture.

The video below explains and demonstrates how to activate and strengthen these muscles. This exercise should be done 1-2 times a day.
