Protect your spine

In order to help keep your spine safe, you have to put all the pieces together!

There are some common movements that need to be modified for maximum spine safety.

Two common movements I get asked about are:

  1. Getting in and out of bed without flexing or twisting
  2. Getting up and down off floor without flexing or twisting

Here is how to get in and out of bed safely using “log rolling” – a movement where you move your spine as a whole unit and do not twist.
